Our founding coaches have seen the highs and lows of kicking at the very top levels in both college and the NFL levels. We understand the challenges young kickers face both on the field and off, from the beginner to the advanced. In this section on field goal basics, we will assume you know very little about how to kick a football. Once you learn all about the best equipment to use for place-kicking, we will start with contact and style….what does it mean to be a soccer style kicker?

We’ll help you learn how to kick field goals using engaging video, loads of dialog, images, tips, forum based question/answer topics, stories, close-ups, slow-motion, as if you were standing right there, looking over our shoulder as a private lesson student.  We call it virtual coaching, and members can go back as often as they like to review each and every session.  They can post questions to the private forum for experienced coaches to answer, and they’ll have access to all the new content including on field drills and practice plans to help them succeed over time. We film our topics on various fields from high school to college, on grass, turf, in the sun and in the rain. We also introduce learning components in a sequential, organized and numbered system so that you know where you are, what to learn and in what order.

Field goal basics are the foundation of success in place kicking. These concepts are essential to shave years off trial and error for beginners, but possibly even more important for advanced kickers to review and grow since so many good kickers develop poor habits over time.
