While it is all well and good to be able to kick a football 70 yards with a 4.0+ second hang time, what good is it if you do not know how to kick a football accurately and put it between the uprights?

How to kick a football accurately by only kicking extra points

In talking with Scott, he had a total of five career attempts over 50 yards.  That’s two college kicking careers and a TOTAL of 7 attempts over 50 yards!  So why does every kicker feel the need to practice kicking from their max distance?

The most logical answer I can think of is to prove he is stronger than all the other guys out there, especially at the big summer kicking camps!

Tip:  Work with a kicking buddy.  Every kicker is going to have different strengths and weaknesses, so when I was trying to learn how to kick a football more accurately, I partnered with a kicker that was extremely accurate.  In return, I worked with him on adding height and distance to his kicks. Finding someone like this can be of great benefit to everyone as you all work to improve.
