About the Author: Scott Sisson
Scott Sisson is a Georgia Tech All-American and Hall of Fame kicker who helped lead the Yellow Jackets to the 1990 National Championship. Known for his clutch performance under pressure, Scott kicked six game-winning field goals for Tech and was selected in the 5th round of the 1993 NFL Draft. In his final NFL season, he completed a successful campaign with the Minnesota Vikings, highlighted by a game-winning kick in the rain against the Raiders. Over his career, Scott converted 14 game-winning kicks — at least one at every level he played.
Today, he coaches the next generation of kickers to master not only technique, but also the consistency, confidence, and mental toughness needed to thrive in last-minute, high-pressure moments.
